As a manufacturer of personal aircraft, Cirrus Aircraft is dedicated to the advancement of general aviation by encouraging and enabling the acquisition of flying skills and activities of its employees and their families. The Cirrus Aircraft Flying Club is committed to making flight accessible and affordable to its members.
Currently the Cirrus Flying Club shares access to three airplanes, two SR20 G3 equipped with Cirrus Perspective by Garmin avionics and one 2010 SR22 G3 equipped with Cirrus Perspective by Garmin avionics . The use of these planes is shared with the Cirrus corporate flight operations department, and as such, corporate use takes priority over club reservations.
To encourage the acquisition of flying skills, the club works to offer two private pilot ground schools per year, typically in the Spring and Fall. In addition, instrument ground school classes are offered when there is sufficient demand.
Club membership is offered to all Cirrus employees and their immediate families at a cost of $5 per paycheck per member.
